Parent conversation and scheduling
The introductory parent conversation is free and lasts 20 minutes. Selecting a time and preparing an email request does not reserve an appointment. Nicolas confirms the time and meeting details by email. Availability is shown in your selected time zone; review that zone before sending your request. Actual teaching appointments are arranged separately.
Lessons and prices
Individual online reading and spelling lessons cost US$95 for 50 minutes or US$55 for 25 minutes. The calendar reserves a one-hour or 30-minute block respectively. A computer or tablet, a reliable internet connection, and a reachable parent or guardian are needed.
Four 50-minute lessons cost US$342 with 10% off; eight cost US$608 with 20% off. Eight 25-minute lessons cost US$396 with 10% off; sixteen cost US$704 with 20% off. Two short lessons count as one long lesson toward the package threshold. Discounts do not stack. Packages are prepaid, with lesson dates agreed before purchase, and do not renew automatically.
This website does not collect card details or charge a payment. Nicolas agrees on payment arrangements and any cancellation or rescheduling terms with the parent before paid lessons begin.
First-month progress promise
Before teaching begins, Nicolas and the parent agree in writing on an observable reading or spelling goal, the starting point, and a lesson schedule. The goal is reviewed after four teaching weeks, accounting for agreed breaks and rescheduled lessons.
If the child completes the agreed lessons and the goal is not met, the next two lessons of the same length are free and are the final sessions with Nicolas. After those two sessions, tutoring with Nicolas ends and he provides a referral to another independent teacher. Any unused prepaid lessons are refunded at the amount paid for them. The other teacher’s availability and acceptance depend on their own arrangements. The promise does not specify a universal reading-level gain.
Teaching fit
Tutoring supports reading and spelling practice. It does not provide a diagnosis or replace clinical assessment. The introductory conversation helps determine whether Nicolas’s experience, teaching approach, and available schedule fit the child’s needs. Examples of previous progress do not predict the same result for every child.
