Read With Nicolas provides individual online reading and spelling tutoring. Questions about this website or your information can be sent to readwithnicolas@gmail.com.
Parent inquiries
The conversation form is for adult parents and guardians. Your name, email address, and selected time are used on your device to prepare an email request. The website does not submit those form fields to a booking database. If you choose to send the request through your email app, Nicolas receives it by email and uses it to respond and arrange the conversation. Do not enter a child’s full name, school records, diagnosis, or other sensitive information in this form.
The business inbox uses Gmail and forwards incoming email to Nicolas’s personal inbox so that he can respond. These messages are handled by Google’s email services. You can ask Nicolas to correct or delete inquiry information, subject to records he must retain for an agreed service or legal obligation. Any information required for lessons is discussed separately with the parent or guardian.
Calendar availability and Google user data
The site reads occupied time ranges from Nicolas’s connected teaching calendar using Google Calendar’s availability permission. It uses those ranges solely to avoid offering conflicting parent conversation times. It does not request student names, event titles, descriptions, or permission to create, edit, or delete calendar events.
Only anonymous occupied time ranges are sent to visitors’ browsers. Authorization credentials are stored privately in the hosted server configuration; they are not included in the web page or browser scripts. Occupied ranges are temporarily cached to keep the calendar responsive. Calendar information is not sold, used for advertising, or used to train AI models. Read With Nicolas’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. Nicolas can disconnect the calendar by revoking the app’s access in his Google account.
Hosting and embedded video
This website is hosted through OpenAI Sites on Cloudflare infrastructure. Hosting providers may process technical information such as an IP address, browser information, request times, and access logs to deliver and protect the site. The site does not install advertising pixels or a separate analytics tracker.
The page embeds Nicolas’s video through YouTube’s privacy-enhanced player. The video does not autoplay. Loading or interacting with the player can share technical information with YouTube/Google; their own privacy policies apply. There is also a direct link to watch the video on YouTube.
Children and recordings
Children should not submit inquiries themselves. This website does not record lessons, request a child’s image or voice, or display real student details. The lesson-email example is fictional. Requests to use a child’s information or footage for a different purpose would be discussed separately with the parent or guardian.
